Wax Assembly Equipment

Wax Connections has been involved in the investment casting industry since the 1970’s. Company founder William Yergler a Purdue university alumni had a vision, change the process of wax pattern assembly. The original Wax Applicator was conceptualised, developed, and has changed the way the investment casting process has assembled patterns ever since.

Current CEO of Wax Connections Christopher Yergler has continued to push the company into the future offering an increased catalogue of solutions and introducing the wax connections equipment to the global investment casting market.

Wax Connections manufacturers all equipment in house in the USA.

Investment Casting Supplies is proud to stock and distribute the complete range of Wax Connections equipment and related spares and accessories.

Wax Assembly Equipment

Wax Applicator

Our wax applicator is a wax pattern assembly tool, ideal for replacing the old-fashioned eyedroppers and tins of melted wax. This piece of equipment gives you complete control and precise results.

Wax Sprue Heater

This compact wax oven brings your wax sprues up to a workable temperature, designed for industrial use but small enough to fit within any wax room.

Hot Knife

We have taken key points from our customers and made the following improvements to our hot knife:

  1. Lower temperature range
  2. Permanent connection to the tip
  3. Eliminated the foot pedal

Pinning Tweezers

Our heated pinning tweezer sets are used to insert platinum pins into wax patterns. Using our tweezer system removes the need to have an open flame at the workstation and reduces the chance of wax pattern defects.

Wax Gate Cutter

Do you want a way to cut your wax gating material with ease? Do you want a maintenance free tool that has no moving blades that get jammed and has the ability to cut your wax gates in any area of your plant, of course you do!

Applicator Hose

The wax applicator we supply needs a hand held dispenser. These are fully adjustable to allow you to control the flow of wax to the pattern and they have interchangeable tips for bead size control.

Applicator Tips

Our interchangeable tips are the ideal solution for bead size control, different lengths and sizes make it easy to get into those hard to reach patterns. Custom lengths available up to 4 inches.

Air Supply Kit

We have already done the work and found the correct parts. The air supply will cut down set-up time for the wax applicator unit. Connect the air fittings and you’re ready to go!

Pre-Screening Basket

The Pre-screening basket suspends pelletized wax until it melts, this eliminates the solid material from settling in front of the pick up filter at the bottom of the tank.

Step Down Transformer

Use this step down transformer to plug your Wax Applicator directly into 220 V.  The transformer is hard wired with a European Schuko plug.

Applicator Wax

Wax Connections provide a wax designed specifically for use in the wax applicator. Assemble your patterns with a faster more consistent flow rate, smoother finishing, and a stronger bond.

Pattern Scraper

Our pattern scrapers are a very safe alternative to surgical knifes that are often used to trim wax patterns. All of our scrapers have a 0.3 mm cutting wire and the shape can be modified to suit your requirements.

Dental Tools

We supply a range of dental tools that have long been used in the lost wax process, ideal  for working on complex wax patterns and assemblies in hard to reach areas.

Control Unit Repair

If your Control Unit isn’t working or you feel that it doesn’t perform as well as it should then send it back and we will repair it, we can also conduct annual services and replace parts as required.

Applicator Hose Repair

Our service package includes disassembly, cleaning, valve replacement and core heater replacement.
